MALI
Beloved Mali. Just by the shore of river Niger this magical country, raises up with a desert landscape, fantastic culture and beautiful people. I´ve got the privilege to visit this country four times. It’s been tough years for the people in Mali suffering from a hunger crisis, drought and insecurity. Despite the recent turbulence I must say Mali is one of the most interesting and amazing places I visited. Mali is one of the countries I manage in my work and it’s been wonderful to see projects have changed the lives of people. During my trips I have really been spoiled and given alive chickens, kilos of peanuts, beautiful traditional cloth, lots of papayas, cabbage, eggplants…and a sheep from a village chief as a thank you! All this from people who hardly have food for the day! What do you say?!
